Mare Nostrum signs sales, marketing, and distribution deal with De Gruyter
Mare Nostrum is delighted to announce that from 1st March 2018 it will be responsible for managing distribution, sales, and marketing in the UK and Ireland for De Gruyter’s architecture and design imprints — Birkhäuser, Ambra, Detail, and De Gruyter Art. Mare Nostrum will partner with Marston Book Services for distribution and Quantum Publishing Solutions for sales to UK and Irish bookshops.
David Pickering of Mare Nostrum comments, ‘We are very pleased to be working with De Gruyter to extend their coverage for such prestigious architecture and design imprints. Having successfully set up other European publisher’s distribution, sales and marketing operations in the UK and Ireland we feel well placed to help De Gruyter grow their sales in such a key market.’
‘This new agreement with Mare Nostrum is a very positive development for us. It will enable us to deliver a combined local sales, marketing, and distribution service to the UK book trade that should help give this great list the visibility and profile it deserves’ says Ben Ashcroft, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, De Gruyter.
